Sit and Knit

 The library’s Sit and Knit group   meets on the 4th Monday of the month.   Stitchers, crocheters, and craft people are welcome to join in the visiting and sharing.  NOTE: in May the group will meet on May 21st.
Knitters of all skill levels can come and share  knitted projects and ideas.   New to knitting?   Join us for instruction, inspiration and answers.  All hand stitchers are welcome to come, stitch, and visit.

 

 

 

 

 

Babysitting Clinic

 Babysitting Clinic Registration

 The New Holstein Public Library will be offering a 2-part Babysitting Clinic for youth ages 10 and up.    Two sessions will be on May 9 and two sessions will be on May 16.  Sessions will go from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. each day.  The clinic will meet in the library’s Arps Meeting Room.

Parental permission is required to attend the clinic.  Pre-registration is required so adequate materials are printed.   If you sign up but later find you are unable to attend, please let us know.

May 9 – 2:30 to 3:25 – Fire Safety and using an extinguisher / NHFD fireman Eric Mayer

3:35 to 4:30  – Health care and emergencies / Calumet County Public Health Nurse

May 16 – 2:30 to 3:25 – Babysitting responsibilities/  NHPD officer Kurtis Stephany

3:35 – 4:30 – Caring for children – teacher to be determined
